Who to follow on Facebook and Twitter – Five tips for English teachers

1. Edutopia (George Lucas Foundation, based in California) The absolute best when it comes to all areas of education. Number one on all lists (US) of who to follow.

 2. Teach Thought  (Terry Heick, founder) Also in the top ten of people to follow. Well respected amongst people in the know and is always ahead when it comes to technology in schools.

 3. BuzzFeed Online news-Buzz-Life (Obama follows them)

 4. Teaching English-British Council More of a language-based page. Often comes up with bits and bobs that can be used with lower level English students. English Explained Place to find expressions, idioms etc
